CatholicCare is a close-knit Foster Care agency. We work together with our Foster Carers, kids, birth families and staff to achieve the very best outcome possible.

Our carers
CatholicCare works with both Foster Carers and Kinship (or Relative) Carers. All Carers in CatholicCare are considered an integral part of the Foster Care Team and participate in planning sessions for children and young people in their care. Carers have the important job of caring for the day-to-day needs of a child or young person placed with them and are supported by our Casework team to do this. Read how they do what they do here.

Our kids
Children and young people who have entered Foster Care with CatholicCare are the main reason the team is together in the first place! Though many face challenges on entering care, they constantly inspire us with their achievements and aspirations. Read one amazing story here.

Our birth families
Children and young people who are in Foster Care have birth families that are very important to them and are very important to us. They are an essential part of the team that makes decisions about their children.
